Literary Review

This project was created for the Literary Review at Colorado Mesa University. We were asked to illustrate in a very simple shape, limited color palette, and half-tone pattern style to support the stories we were given. The poem that was given to me was titled “I am Whole.”

I was later asked by the lead design editor of this project to create two more illustrations which was published along with the first illustration for “I am Whole.” The following illustration was done from a story titled “House of Secrets.” The last illustration that was done and will be published is a poem titled “Together.”

The last illustration, with the hands coming out of the rocks, was done just for fun. This design was done to support the story of creation from atoms, clay, and earth.
